How I was feeling at Gatsby's funeral

Hi guys!! At this moment in time, I was not only upset but also more mad than anything. George Wilson shot my good friend Gatsby because Daisy hit George’s wife with Gatsby’s car. Gatsby and I became very good friends in a short amount of time. We always hangout together, got lunch, and talked about everything. The day he passed, I was upset to of lost such a good friend as Gatsby. I felt like I needed to take the initiative to plan his funeral out of my respect for him. Therefore, I decided to set the arrangements up and invite all of his close friends and family. I slowly started to hear about from people about attending Gatsby’s funeral and most people had an excuse why they could not come. Instantly I started to be angry because I strongly believed Gatsby deserved better by people coming to his funeral and showing their respect to him. I was very angry when some of his closest friends told me they were not going to come because they did not want to get involved with the whole shooting accident. I thought to myself, if someone were to be a true friend, they would go show their respect no matter how the person may have passed away. The day of the funeral came and very few people showed up. I was there along with the hearse driver, priest, his father, and some random man I had met at one of Gatsby’s party. After the funeral I was disappointed and very angry at the amount of people that showed up.
